Gidas was amazing to work with through the entire planning process and on the day of the event. We had to postpone our large wedding due to COVID and ended up having a small wedding followed by a reception the following year. Laurie was so great through both events and captured my vision perfectly. Laurie and the entire team was wonderful to work with from the initial meeting through both events - great communication, responsive, they went above and beyond! The flowers were so soo beautiful. I called Gidas today for a last minute delivery to West Penn Hospital. I was after the cutoff but the woman who answered the phone was so kind and had the delivery driver wait to get my order on the delivery truck and out same day. Working with Gida’s for a bereavement bouquet delivery from across the country could not have gone any smoother. Their online ordering was straightforward and simple and their options were perfect. But what took this experience to the next level was our delivery person, Stephen, going above and beyond to make sure our order was delivered. Stephen contacted me when the recipients didn’t answer the door and gave plenty of time and flexibility for me to coordinate with the family to make sure they were able to receive the delivery. Stephen then went back to their home to complete the delivery and sent me a photo of the beautiful arrangement. Supporting grieving friends from a distance is so hard.
